Our Founder and Chairman

Late Prof. Desmond T. S. Fullinfaw was a Visionary, Educationist, Teacher, Mentor, and Guide and prominent personality in the field of Education and Leadership. He devoted over 55 years in the field of education. He was a prominent and respected member of the Anglo-Indian community and dedicated his life to empowering students through quality Education, Knowledge, and Service.

He served as a Head of Department at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), where he headed the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science for 27 years. A pioneer in the teaching of Operations Research & Computer Science since the early 1980s. He played an influential role in shaping modern approaches to higher education & technical learning in Karnataka.

His Vision was on education was about not only acquiring knowledge, but about building character, accepting responsibilities, developing leadership and serving society.

A Legacy of Excellence in
Education & Service

His expertise and academic leadership extended beyond the institution. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Examiners, Bangalore University and Chairman of Bangalore Mathematical Association and was a key contributor to the development and framing of undergraduate and postgraduate curricula at Bangalore University, Madurai Kamaraj University, and Gulbarga University.

Throughout his remarkable career, he remained committed to Academic Excellence, Innovation, Discipline, and Holistic Development to over thousands of students.

His vision was rooted in the belief that education should not only impart knowledge but also build Character, Responsibility, Ethical values, and a Spirit of Service.

Fullinfaws College stands as a lasting reflection of his Vision, Dedication, & Life-long commitment towards education.

As he now starts his new journey in the heaven above, his ideals, Values & Educational Legacy continues to inspire generations of staff, students & educationists.
